Website Design

Design is important to a “website visitor” when it comes to look and feel, user-friendly navigation, interactive components, and load speed/download times. However, design is mission critical to a “website owner” when it comes to upgrading software/hardware and updating content… especially when the cost of expertise, time, and money are factored in.

In other words, the most important questions that need to be addressed when considering a designer/host include:

  • How much does a website cost initially?
  • How much does it cost to maintain a website?
  • How much will it cost if I want to add/edit/delete/archive anything on my website including images, text, pages, posts, overall design, the designer and/or host, etc?

This greatly depends on how your website is designed initially, how often you want to update your content, how you would rate your own computer skills, and whether or not your initial designer/hosting provider was using web standards.

Having said that, our approach is to build every website utilizing WC3 standards. We also elect to build our designs for use with content management software (CMS), thereby allowing us to “theme” it which reduces design time significantly. In other words, our clients are able to reduce their overall costs of both initial design and regular maintenance significantly.

DESIGN is your most important consideration.

Whatever software your designer uses to build your website, typically, you’ll need to use the same software to maintain it. That’s why we build our websites on top of a CMS. This allows anyone, anywhere in the world to maintain the website without the need to have software installed onto their computer. It also allows for anyone with the most basic computer skills to be able to keep their website up-to-date without the need to pay a designer. This is important when considering changing direction (i.e. host/designer) or should you simply decide your website needs a facelift… you can simply “re-theme” your website since all of the actual content is stored on a database. Again, design is your most important consideration… and we’ve got you covered.

NOTE: Depending on our client’s needs, we offer many different types of CMS packages… from blogging software, website publishers, article managers, knowledge bases, shopping carts, forums, website editors, email marketers, realty/auto listing software, etc.
